The CEPT administrations have, at the multilateral meeting in Constanţa, Romania, 02-04 July 2007, adopted two revised Special Arrangements originally established to facilitate introduction of T-DAB services.
The main objective of revising MA02 Special Arrangement was to provide for further flexibility to implement new mobile multimedia services, alongside with T-DAB, in the frequency band 1452-1479.5 MHz.
In case of WI95revMA02 Special Arrangement the provisions and plan entries related to the frequency band 174 -230 MHz have been removed in order to avoid any conflict with the provisions of the GE06 Agreement. The revised Special Arrangement will continue to cover those frequency bands which are not part of GE06, namely 47 - 68 MHz, 87.5 - 108 MHz and 230 – 240 MHz.
Both revised Special Arrangements have come into force on 01 September 2007.
