The first session of the RRC took place from 10 to 28 May 2004 in Geneva. Its main objective was to establish the technical basis for the work of the second session of the RRC and to organize activities in the period between the two sessions.


The agenda for the conference was defined in the ITU Council Resolution 1185.


The main input to the RRC-04 was a Report prepared by Task Group 6/8 which was included in the in the ITU-R Report to the first session (Document of the RRC04/3).


Within CEPT, preparatory work was carried out within the Working group Frequency Management (WGFM) by the Project Team FM24.


CEPT has developed a number of European Common Proposals (ECP). Click here for the final list of ECPs for the RRC-04.
