The revised WI95revMA02 Special Arrangement (now known as The Wiesbaden, 1995, Special Arrangement, as revised in Constanţa, 2007 - WI95revCO07) has been adopted by CEPT multilateral meeting on 04 July 2007 and has come into force on 01 September 2007.
The provisions and plan entries for the 174 -230 MHz band have been removed from the WI95revMA02 Special Arrangement in order to avoid any conflict with the provisions of the GE06 Agreement. The revised Special Arrangement will continue to cover those frequency bands which are not part of GE06, namely 47 - 68 MHz, 87.5 - 108 MHz and 230 – 240 MHz. The procedure for modification to the frequency plan remains unchanged.
Furthermore, the Final Acts includes a new Article 2 which makes provision for the protection of existing T-DAB assignments in the frequency band 174 – 230 MHz until a date to be agreed by administrations concerned, but not later than 1 January 2012. Detailed information on this issue is available here.
