Following the guidance from the ECC and WGRA, Correspondence Group on UWB regulatory issues (RA UWB) had been working in co-operation with RA PT1 and developed a report on 'Regulatory and Enforcement Implications of the Phased Approach for UWB Devices in the 4.2-4.8 GHz band'.
The Report was adopted at WGRA meeting in Paris, 17-20 October 2006, and presented to the ECC meeting in Nicosia, 29 November – 1 December 2006, that examined in particular the recommendations made by WGRA and, as a result of this, mandated ECC TG3 to review draft regulation for a phased approach introduction.
