There are three different data formats used in connection with the T-DAB Plans in CEPT:
- Co07 format
This data format was adopted at Constanţa 2007 for submission of data to ERO/ECO by the administrations. A hight degree of compatibility exists between the Co07 format and to the ITU file formats for submission of electronic notices for T-DAB in the context of GE-06 Agreement (see ITU-R CR/120 and CR/262). The Co07 format specification is included in the current Annex 3 of both Wi95revCo07 and Ma02revCo07 Special Arrangements.
This data format is currently used for publication of the updated Plans and was accepted for submission of data to ERO by the administrations. The data structure is in accordance with the ASCII97 specification (the current version is 1.3, as of 15 March 2006).
The following software tools can be used to retrieve, inspect and manipulate T-DAB data files in ASCII97 format:
A97Utils and Dablist
- MA02 format
This data format was adopted at Maastricht 2002 for submission of data to ERO/ECO by the administrations. The format specification was included in the old Annex 3 of both the Wi95revMa02 and Ma02 Special Arrangments. Following the latest revision of the two Special Arrangements the MA02
The following software tool can be used to convert T-DAB format from ASCII97 format into Co07 format or from MA02 format into Co07 format and vice versa:
T-DAB conversion (exe file) (updated the October 2010) and T-DAB conversion (set up files - 26 Moctet) test Win7 set up file - 10 June 2011

Publication of the T-DAB Plans
The two frequency Plans (the one in the VHF band asociated with WI95revCO07 and the other in the 1.5 GHz band governed by MA02revCO07) are curently published in ASCII97 format.
The data were transfered into the new Co07 format before the two revised Special Arrangements come into force on 01 September 2007.
The frequency plans will provisionally continue to be available in ASCII97 format.
Submission of data to ECO

Administrations may use for submission of T-DAB allotments and assignments data one of the old data formats (ASCII97 or MA02) on an interim bases until the end of 2007.
