Location:

 

The European Communications Office, ECO, is situated near Copenhagen city centre, with easy access by car, bus, train or Metro to/from Copenhagen Airport.

 

By TAXI:  The journey takes approx. 25 minutes and will cost you about DKK 300 (EUR 40). If you want to book a taxi from ECO please contact reception.

 

By METRO: The Metro departs frequently. The normal fare is approximately DKK 30 (EUR 4); however, you can buy a yellow ‘clip card’ which makes the trip considerably cheaper and can be used on all Copenhagen buses, trains and Metros. The journey takes about 15 minutes and you can either get off at Nørreport Station or Forum Station (a 10 minutes walk to ECO).

 

By TRAIN: The trains depart frequently from the airport to the Central Station or Nørreport Station. The normal fare is approximately DKK 30 (EUR 4); however, you can buy a yellow ‘clip card’ which makes the trip considerably cheaper and can be used on all Copenhagen buses and trains. The journey takes about 15 minutes and you can either get off at the Central Station (a 20 minute walk to ECO) or at Nørreport Station (a 10 minutes walk to ECO).

Office:

 

The office is a non-smoking office. Smoking is only allowed outside the building.

 

Meeting facilities:

We can offer the following meeting rooms:

 

1          ‘Hamlet’            for up to 65 participants           with microphones, W-LAN, webcam

2                     ‘Langelinie’       for up to 20 participants           with W-LAN

3          ‘Ophelia’           for up to 9 participants             with W-LAN

4          ‘Mermaid’          for up to 8 participants             with W-LAN

 

A 'delegates' computer room' (with 2 PC’s with standard up-to-date software packages, printer and access to the Internet) is available for the use of participants in meetings. - Photocopying and fax facilities are also available (contact reception).

 

Please note that normal office hours are from 8.30 to 16.30,  Friday 8.30 to 15.30.

 

For reasons of security the office must be vacated when

the last member of the ECO staff leaves for the day.

 

Food and drink:

 

Lunch will be provided to delegates at no cost.

Hot drinks are available from a machine (self-service).

Cold drinks will be served in the meeting room.
